What You Can Do To Help

  • Don't accept violence in your own life. Seek help for yourself and your children
  • Recognize that domestic violence also hurts kids. Counseling helps children cope with their fears and feelings.
  • Domestic violence is everyone's business. Reach out to a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker. Donate money, clothes or household goods to Marjaree Mason Center.
  • Volunteer your time: Marjaree Mason's children's program, crisis hotline, hospital response team.
  • Become a volunteer speaker with Fresno County Human Services System's Count-to-Ten Program, 1-800-640-0333.
  • Ask your club, group or business to host a speaker on domestic violence.
