What You
Can Do To Help
- Don't
accept violence in your own life. Seek help for yourself and your children
- Recognize
that domestic violence also hurts kids. Counseling helps children cope
with their fears and feelings.
- Domestic
violence is everyone's business. Reach out to a friend, family member,
neighbor, or co-worker. Donate money, clothes or household goods to
Marjaree Mason Center.
- Volunteer
your time: Marjaree Mason's children's program, crisis hotline, hospital
response team.
- Become
a volunteer speaker with Fresno County Human Services System's Count-to-Ten
Program, 1-800-640-0333.
- Ask your
club, group or business to host a speaker on domestic violence.
