In-Kind Giving

Many people, community groups, and businesses help victims of domestic violence by providing materials or a service. Past in-kind contributions have included painting, landscape maintenance, paving and cementing services, space-planning, Thanksgiving turkeys and many other materials and services. For more information on in-kind giving, visit our volunteer page or please call (559) 237-4706.

Donating Used Items

Unfortunately, due to the increased need for space in our shelter, we do not have storage space for used items. However, Catholic Charities Thrift Store (items and clothes) and Eco World (clothes only) provide vouchers to our clients so they can pick up what they need for free. Please donate used items to these two thrift stores instead. If you are unable to stop by Eco World, you can put all of the used clothing donations in bags and leave them on your front porch for Eco World to pick it up. Visit justporchit.com to schedule a pickup (NOTE: you do not have to be present for them to pick up your donation).

Wings Advocacy Fresno also partners with MMC to donate furniture to our clients moving into their new homes. Visit their website to learn more about the kind of furniture you can donate to MMC clients.

Wish List

All items donated to MMC should be in new condition, in unopened packaging or with original sales tags. Please bring FULL SIZED items only; travel sizes cannot be accepted. Gift Cards are essential in assisting clients in rural areas, and for items we do not have room to store.
